We built our first 24/7 hospital in Corktown, Toronto, in early 2025. Be part of a dynamic, collaborative team. We are actively seeking experienced Animal Care Assistants who share a desire to learn and be part of a dedicated team of Veterinary Professionals.

Prior experience in a veterinary environment and an Animal Care Assistant certificate is a strong asset.

As an Animal Care Assistant at PetNation, your day-to-day tasks will include:

- Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians in restraining animals for procedures, exams, and treatments.
- Feeding, bathing, and exercising animals as needed.
- Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, exam rooms, and surgical suites.
- Washing and sterilizing equipment, surgical tools, and laundry.
- Ensuring all areas of the hospital are stocked and organized.
- Providing passionate and skilled customer service to clients.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient care, cleaning schedules, and inventory.




- Performing and recording TPR (temperature, pulse, and respiration) checks for routine wellness examinations.
- Monitoring hospitalized patients for signs of illness, stress, or discomfort and report observations to the appropriate team member.
