The Company

Locally owned and operated, Verger Irishview Orchard is New Brunswick's largest producer of Honeycrisp apples. This 90-acre orchard just outside of Moncton has over 140,000 high density dwarf apple trees consisting of 80% Honeycrisp, 10% Ambrosia and 10% Gala apples. In the Fall, apples are hand picked and shipped to distributers who sell them across the country.

Location: 2480 Route 115, Irishtown – approximately 8kms past Costco

Tasks & Responsibilities

Beginning late September, Irishview will be full time seasonal employees, whose tasks and responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Harvest apple crop
- Learn and follow all health and safety standards and protocols
- Report to and follow directions from orchard management

Eligibility We are looking for employees with the following qualities:

- Physically fit:able to do repetitive lifting and bending, and walking/standing for long periods
- Ability to hold weight of produce picked (40+ lbs)
- Hard working and reliable
- Work in a safe, efficient manner
- Team player
- Able to work in various outdoor climates
- Must complete and return recent hire paperwork
- Must have valid Social Insurance Number or Visa to legally work in Canada (NO LMIA AVAILABLE)

Additional Information

- Full time seasonal (4-6 weeks) positions available, starting late September/Early October




- Full time hours – 44/week
- Start and finish times vary – regular hours 8am – 5pm
- 30 minute unpaid lunch, two paid 15 minute breaks (please bring lunch, no restaurants close by)
- Hourly wage $17/hour
- Paid bi-weekly via Direct Deposit
- Equipment is provided
- Must dress appropriately for weather conditions
- Parking available on site

No education or experience necessary! Sorry, we do not offer part time or evening shifts. Accepted applicants will be contacted via email in late August/Early September to organize orientation and new hire paperwork.

Orientation An in person orientation session will be provided where you will be shown how to properly harvest and handle the apples. We will also go over the training documents you will receive prior to orientation. This will include topics such as:

- How to clock in/out for your shifts
- Proper hand washing techniques
- Safety rules and guidelines
