We are looking for a candidate residing in the Montreal Metro Area with 3–5 years of experience, ideally with a background in Application/Production Support within Capital Markets and experience supporting a Fixed Income/Credit trading desk.

Application Support Analyst (APS)-Credit Trading is required to support the credit desk’s applications—including, but not limited to, e‑trad, risk, Focus, and client‑clearing. The role’s scope will help keep production secure by reducing incidents and minimizing outage downtime.

Scope description The role will support credit‑desk applications—both those developed in‑house and those supplied by vendors—including, but not limited to, ION, JAG, QuartzC, Lynx, Omega, ONCA Risk, Focus, Client Clearing, and other third‑party solutions. Effective communication via chat tools such as Bloomberg, Microsoft Teams, and Symphony will be essential to support traders and the trading desk.

The resource will act as a bridge between the business and IT, collaborating closely with developers and business analysts. Core responsibilities include ensuring production stability through proactive,



enhanced monitoring; incident management; production‑issue investigation; and release and change management in line with the bank’s guidelines.

In addition, the resource will work with regional counterparts to perform SOD checks for other regions and to have those regions monitor the US platform before SOD, maintaining open communication on any changes or releases that require a second set of eyes.

B--Monitoring: Resource should actively monitor the platform through provided tools and proactively work on fixing issues or escalating in timely manner

Proposed resource requirements The resource should have expertise in fixed‑income markets, experience supporting a trading desk, the ability to collaborate effectively with traders and developers, a solid understanding of the RFQ lifecycle and post‑trade processes, proficiency in log‑scraping, and the capability to work both collectively and independently.
