Position Description

Garden Valley School Division invites applications for the part-time (.50 FTE) term position of Applied Technology Teacher at Pine Ridge Elementary School from September 8, 2026 – June 30, 2027.

Garden Valley School Division is a dynamic and thriving educational community located in the heartland of Manitoba's beautiful Pembina Valley Region. With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.

Required And/Or Prefered Qualifications

- Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Completion of a relevant Industrial Arts Teacher Education Program would be considered an asset
- Previous industry or trades experience is considered an asset
- The ability to work alongside teachers, colleagues and contribute collaboratively as a team member is essential.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check

Pine Ridge Elementary School is a K-8 school of approximately 550 students in Winkler, Manitoba. Being the newest school in Winkler, it features contemporary designs, facilities, and teaching spaces.
