Responsibilities
- Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring and conduit work.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Support the setup and troubleshooting of low voltage systems such as alarms or communication lines.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment on all job sites.
- Collaborate with journeyman electricians to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
- Participate in site inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial electrician work is preferred but not required.
- Basic electrical experience or coursework related to electrical systems is advantageous.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring techniques is a plus.
- Construction experience or background working on construction sites is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills.
