Job Title: Apprentice Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
Territory: British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories.
Position Type: Full-Time. 8-hour shift minimum with overtime opportunities.

Role:
- We are seeking a 2nd-3rd year apprentice mechanic.
- Experience in repairing, servicing and diagnosing Foundation and/or Rock Drilling equipment considered an asset.
- Experience with major brands such as Sandvik, CAT, John Deere, Comacchio, ABI, Bauer, and Klemm considered an asset.
- Ability to lift and manage 50 pounds without assistance.
- Willing to travel and be away from home occasionally.
- Willing to work in the field and in remote locations.
Requirements:
- Must have own tools.
- Experience with blast hole and production drilling is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Must be available to travel for out-of-town field calls.
- Superior mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrates commitment to safe work practices & conducts business on behalf of Traxxon in a professional manner.
- First-Aid, Forklift, and other certifications considered an asset.
- Welding ticket/experience considered an asset.
