Responsibilities

Assist senior plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assemble pipes, fixtures, and related components.

Support the measurement and layout of plumbing systems using basic math skills to ensure accurate installation.

Participate in the use of welding equipment when necessary for pipe joining or repairs.

Help with routine maintenance tasks on plumbing fixtures and systems to ensure optimal operation.

Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements





High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework in mechanical knowledge or construction is a plus.

Basic understanding of plumbing principles, schematics, and blueprints is preferred but not required—training will be provided.

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous.

Strong interest in learning carpentry, HVAC systems, and general construction practices.

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this apprenticeship.

Must demonstrate a willingness to learn current skills quickly and follow safety guidelines diligently.
