Apprentice Powerline Technician

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must hold a valid Class 1A Driver’s License.
- Must hold a valid, recognized Apprentice Card.
- Position available to start immediately in Saskatoon.
- Previous experience operating backhoes, trenchers, skid steers, hydrovacs, and excavators would be considered an asset.
- Must successfully pass required pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing.

DUTIES:
- Assist Journeyperson Powerline Technicians/Operators with:
- New construction
- Modifications to existing facilities
- Maintenance of existing facilities
- Salvage operations
- Material and pole hauling
- Perform any other duties as requested or directed by the Foreman.
- Current work schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Must be versatile with work hours and willing to travel and work in all weather conditions.
