Hey there,

We’re looking for a hands‑on fixer/builder with experience in construction, modular home installation, or general trades. Your main project will be completing the final setup of a Jandel prefab home at camp — hooking up utilities, building a deck, winterizing it for freeze‑up, and making sure it’s fully functional for next season.

Outside of that, you’ll be the person who helps keep camp running: fixing things, maintaining systems, helping the mining crew, and solving problems as they pop up. If you’re adaptable, mechanically minded, and comfortable living remote for the season, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

Modular Home Setup & Construction Work

- Final utility hookups for the Jandel home (power, water, septic, heat sources)
- Deck construction — framing, decking, stairs, railing
- Minor carpentry repairs — doors, trim, siding, skirting, interior fixes
- Winterizing the home — insulating lines, heat‑tracing, sealing skirting, prepping for freeze‑up
- Troubleshooting utility issues — pumps, pressure problems, electrical faults, frozen lines

You should be someone who can:
- Diagnose issues with or without manuals




- Improvise repairs with limited supplies, creative problem solving
- Build quick solutions (shelves, braces, ramps, supports)
- Keep essential systems running (water, heat, power, fuel)
- Stay calm, think clearly, and figure things out

Who This Job Suits

Someone who

- Has construction or modular home installation experience
- Has solid mechanical sense and troubleshooting ability
- Works independently without needing constant direction
- Is comfortable living remote for 1-2 months
- Doesn’t mind long days and physical work
- Gets along with a small crew
- Has a valid driver’s licencE

Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
- Welding/fabrication
- Small engine repair
- Carpentry or electrical basics
- Experience in mining or exploration
- Vehicle for travelling to and from site
