This is a full-time in office role for an Assistant Game Master at TRAPPED MIDTOWN, located in Toronto, ON.

If you have prior escape room experience and understand live game facilitation, guest psychology, pacing, and immersive storytelling — we want to meet you.

Full-time (Evenings & Weekends Required)

This role is ideal for someone who:

- Has worked in an escape room environment or equivalent experience
- Understands live hint delivery timing
- Can control room energy during high-pressure moments
- Knows how to handle difficult or overly competitive groups
- Thrives in immersive storytelling environments
- Takes pride in operational precision and room resets
- Multi-task activities which includes administrative work
- Able to maintain the entire store and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Keeping the facility areas clean at all times
- Availability on weekends and closing shifts

Responsibilities:





- Delivering high-energy, immersive briefings
- Monitoring gameplay and controlling pacing
- Providing structured, strategic hints
- Maintaining room integrity and immersion
- Ensuring safety and operational excellence
- Supporting marketing and promotional initiatives
- Solving customer enquiries on daily basis
- Maintaining health and hygiene at the facility at all times
- Handling high volume of customers at the facility in a given hour
- Administrative tasks

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to guide players and provide excellent customer service
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and create a positive work environment
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage game flow, reset rooms efficiently, and troubleshoot game issues
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm for immersive experiences, puzzles, and interactive entertainment
- Prior experience in the entertainment, theatre, customer service, or hospitality industry is a plus

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
