This role reports to the housekeeping manager and is responsible for leading and supervising a housekeeping team as well as ensuring all units are cleaned and inspected to our highest level of standards. There is potential for growth in this position.

Ideally suited for someone with previous experience in the industry, and within the role of a supervisor. As well as a perfect opportunity for those already in the resort.

Training will be provided for the right candidate.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure all units (within hotel) are cleaned and inspected prior to guest/owner arrival
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
- Maintain inventory of supplies & equipment within the company as well as within individual units




- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist cleaners in performing duties
- Schedules, assign and co-ordinate duties of housekeeping staff
- Supervising housekeeping department (laundry and janitorial included)
- Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
- Training of staff

QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional with strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to work under limited supervision
- Housekeeping experience is required, and housekeeping supervisory experience preferred
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow direction, work independently, and in a team environment
