Your New Role
As a Assistant Property Manager, you will support the management of a energetic commercial portfolio across Metro Vancouver, consisting of office, retail, and industrial assets totaling approximately 2 million square feet. Working alongside experienced real estate professionals, you will play a key role in maintaining asset performance, enhancing tenant satisfaction, and coordinating day-to-day property operations. This position is ideal for a commercially minded property management professional looking to expand their portfolio exposure and take ownership of property operations within a sophisticated real estate environment.
Key responsibilities include
- Overseeing daily operations across a multi-site commercial portfolio.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and service partners.
- Coordinating maintenance, capital projects, and property improvements.
- Monitoring operational budgets, invoices, and service contracts.
- Collaborating with leasing, accounting,
and operations teams to support portfolio objectives.
- Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.
- Supporting tenant retention initiatives and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
- Assisting with the execution of annual operating plans and property strategies.
What You'll Bring
- 3-5+ years of experience within commercial property management, property administration, or real estate operations.
- Exposure to office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use assets.
- Strong understanding of commercial lease administration and property operations.
- Experience working with property management software such as Yardi, Angus, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of the Commercial Tenancy Act and commercial property management best practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- BCFSA Rental Property Management License, or currently pursuing licensing, is considered an asset.
- Valid BC driver's license and access to a vehicle.
