What is the opportunity?

RBC Dominion Securities Inc. (“RBC DS”) is Canada’s leading full-service investment and wealth management firm. We are committed to helping our clients build financial success through a personalized approach that draws on the full resources of RBC DS and RBC Capital Markets.

Our downtown Vancouver office is seeking a dedicated professional to join a successful and growing Private Client & Institutional Wealth Management team. This role spans client onboarding and servicing, RBC DS applications, business development support, and administrative coordination across internal and external partners. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to grow into more senior Associate roles within the team.

The role may eventually be executing client portfolio trades and model maintenance while supporting Portfolio Managers with investment research, dashboard management, and client review preparation.

As a valued member of the team, you will be recognized and compensated for your contributions. Strong, clear communication with clients and colleagues is essential. Prior industry experience is an asset but not a requirement. This is an in-office role, with daily on-site presence required alongside the rest of the team.

What will you do?

- Develop expertise in RBC DS applications and team-specific processes
- Support client onboarding and account transfers, liaising with internal and external partners to minimize processing delays
- Manage ongoing servicing needs, including account maintenance, cash transactions, general inquiries, and technology support
- Provide ad hoc support for marketing and business development initiatives
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned by Portfolio Managers
- Deliver client service that upholds the team’s AAA service standard
- Promote a work environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and teamwork
- Use Excel and other systems to analyze, organize, and maintain client investment data
- Support cash management, portfolio maintenance, and investment operations

What do you need to succeed?

- Demonstrated client service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills




- Ability to optimize and develop operational processes
- Robust problem-solving skills under time pressure
- Confidence and professionalism when speaking with clients by phone and in person
- Ability to explain complex information in a clear and accessible manner
- Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE
- Completion of CFA Level I will be considered a strong asset
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote) – will be assessed during the interview
- Industry experience is preferred but not required

Compensation for this position, including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments, will be determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, and performance; individual goals; market conditions; and business needs. The expected base salary range for this position is $35,000–$40,000.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.
