Key Responsibilities
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and court applications
- Preparing Chambers applications and discovery materials
- Assisting with trial preparation
- Attending all levels of court
- Conducting legal, policy, and general research
- Communicating and interacting directly with clients
Candidate Qualifications
Associate Position:
- 1 to 3 years of practice experience in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Familiarity and hands on experience with family law, criminal law and civil litigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail,
strong organizational abilities, and a proven capacity to multitask under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Articled / Law Student Position:
- Open to graduates of Canadian law schools, as well as NCA candidates holding law degrees from Commonwealth jurisdictions.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid academic standing, exceptional organizational skills, clear communication, and a strong work ethic.
