The Chance

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to support the leadership and day-to-day operations of our warehouse teams. As the Associate Team Lead, you will work closely with the Fulfillment Team Lead and provide support to the Receiving Team Lead as needed. You will assist with training team members, answering questions, ensuring processes are followed, problem-solving issues, and jumping-in to help where it is needed.

Your main goal is to help ensure the warehouse operates safely and efficiently while supporting team productivity and minimizing downtime. This is a hands-on role that requires a team member who enjoys training and coaching, can provide direction, and is motivated by improving the efficiency and accuracy of daily operations.

Responsibilities

- Support the Fulfillment Team Lead with the day-to-day coordination and oversight of the picking and packing teams

- Provide support to the Receiving Team Lead as required to maintain efficient receiving operations

- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires, current team members, and department transfers

- Assist with ensuring picking, packing, and receiving processes are being carried out in a standardized manner

- Check-in with new hires throughout the probationary period to answer questions or assist with additional training

- Assist with customer picking, store picking, packing, validating, and receiving activities as required





- Help maintain efficient workflow by identifying and addressing areas that are falling behind

- Problem-solve and answer questions from team members to minimize downtime, including RF scanner, product, process, and paperwork issues

- Assist with directing team members and prioritizing work based on daily operational needs

- Report workflow issues or recurring problems to the appropriate Team Lead or management that may cause operational inefficiencies

- Provide feedback to the Team Leads and management regarding team member performance and process improvements

- Help create and maintain an engaging team environment while supporting team productivity

- Monitor team performance and intervene where required, including retraining on processes, addressing excessive socializing, and stopping or reporting unsafe or incorrect work habits

- Provide coverage and support for Team Leads during breaks, absences, or other periods when additional leadership support is required

- Ensure all work activities are carried out in a safe manner and assist with health & safety practices within areas of responsibility

- Complete other internal requests or tasks as determined by management

Qualifications

- Previous leadership, training, or warehouse experience is required

- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills





- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

- Team player with respect for co-workers

- Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Detail-oriented and able to effectively prioritize

- Ability to work across multiple warehouse departments and adapt to changing operational needs

- Ability to provide direction and support to team members in a professional and respectful manner

Additional Information

- Starting Range: $20.00 to $21.00 an hour

- This role will report into our Warehouse Operations Manager and work closely with the Fulfillment and Receiving Team Leads

- This position will operate Monday to Friday, from 8:00am until 5:00pm, with additional overtime as required
- The warehouse temperature is variable depending on seasonal conditions. Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of heavy product weighing 50-60 lbs, along with spending prolonged periods on your feet, is required.
