We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles that have undergone repairs or restorations. Your expertise will help bring vehicles back to their original beauty, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix and match automotive paints accurately to match vehicle color codes or customer specifications
- Apply paint using spray guns, power tools, or hand tools with precision and consistency
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, blemishes, or inconsistencies, then perform touch-ups or rework as needed
- Follow safety protocols by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work environment
- Assist with minor mechanical tasks or heavy lifting related to vehicle repairs when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of paint jobs, materials used, and work performed for quality assurance
Skills
- Proven experience in auto body painting, preferably within a dealership or automotive repair shop setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures and repair processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and other painting equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during preparation or cleanup tasks
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and materials used in refinishing vehicles
- Excellent attention to detail to achieve smooth, flawless finishes
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
