We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic Full-Time Auto Body Prepper & Refinish Technician. We offer competitive wages and extended health, dental, and vision coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surface prep, color mixing, automotive painting, and refinishing.
- Inspect, wet sand, polish, and touch up to resolve paint/color discrepancies.
- Maintain paint booths, spray guns, and equipment in clean working condition.
- Read work orders, complete quality control checks, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Collaborate with shop foremen, team members, and vendors.
Requirements
- Ticketed Journeyperson preferred; qualified apprentices considered (ITA Painter Ticket preferred).
- 2+ years of auto body painting/refinishing experience preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (ability to drive automatic and manual).
- Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and self-management skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
