Specific Duties The successful candidate will be working closely with our team of experienced technologists and control systems engineers. Specific duties involve PLC software development using Schneider, Emerson, and Rockwell PLCs, field commissioning and providing technical support to our well-established customer base.
Requirements:
Graduation from Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology.
Red Seal
Electrician applicants with PLC knowledge will also be considered. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required. French language proficiency is an asset. Applicants must posses robust computer skills, including a working knowledge of Windows and PLC programming.
Experience with VFDs, Soft Starts, and motor control is an asset. Previous exposure to an electrical, manufacturing, or industrial environment is considered an asset. A positive attitude and ability to work both independently or as part of a team is required. This position requires regular domestic travel (20-25%), otherwise it is in-office located in Winnipeg, MB.
