Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians, guiding vehicle repairs and maintenance with enthusiasm. Your mechanical knowledge and sales skills will help ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing service opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly and confidently, ensuring customers understand their options
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and monitor progress throughout the day
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on mechanical knowledge and customer needs
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately,



and maintain detailed records
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships
- Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive repair processes to answer customer questions effectively

Requirements

- Prior dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or technical training
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Proven sales ability, especially in upselling services or products
- Experience with automotive repair processes and terminology
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is often required
