Automotive Service Advisor – Wood Wheaton GM

Compensation Range: $56,700 – $110,000+ / year (Combination of base salary, commission, spiffs, and bonus opportunities)

Location: Prince George, BC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1‑hour lunch)

Position Summary

Wood Wheaton GM is looking for a confident, customer‑focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy service department. You’ll be the main connection between our customers and technicians — helping people understand their vehicle needs, building trust, and keeping the service process running smoothly from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

Greet customers and assess vehicle concerns

Create accurate repair orders and communicate clearly with technicians

Provide updates throughout the repair process

Review completed work and ensure customer satisfaction

Recommend maintenance services and explain them in customer‑friendly language

Maintain a professional, positive presence in the service drive

Required Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Solid computer skills





Professional appearance and commitment to high customer service standards

Preferred (But Not Required)

Experience as a service advisor, technician, or automotive service professional

Knowledge of GM products, warranty systems, and repair procedures

Ability to translate technical information into clear, simple explanations

Familiarity with GM-specific tools and technologies
