Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Clearly explain repair and maintenance services, providing transparent recommendations based on mechanical knowledge
- Prepare detailed work orders, accurately documenting customer requests and vehicle issues
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Upsell additional services or maintenance that benefit the customer's vehicle health while respecting their preferences
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain secure cash handling procedures
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service advisor background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is highly advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Sales aptitude with a focus on upselling services to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Familiarity with automotive industry terminology, repair processes, and dealership operations is a plus
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple customer interactions efficiently
