Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, electrical components, and more.
- Service and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery using specialized tools and schematics.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and system inspections.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices to complete repairs accurately.
- Operate heavy machinery safely during maintenance or repair procedures when required.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues.




- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or in heavy equipment maintenance; dealership experience is highly valued.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems as well as industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Experience operating heavy machinery like excavators or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
