Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling heavy lifting tasks or working with complex machinery to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle or piece of equipment serviced to ensure transparency and accountability.
Experience
- Must have valid Automotive Service Technician License.
- Proven 3-5 years of mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Dealership experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, assembly work, and using schematics for complex repairs.
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
