We are seeking a motivated and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team FROM CALGARY TO BC AND BC TO CALGARY. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with your ability to handle heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs will contribute significantly to our operational excellence.

Duties

- Safely operate AZ licensed trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks and trailers, performing basic automotive repairs or coordinating maintenance as needed
- Verify shipment documentation, track deliveries, and communicate with dispatchers to ensure accurate routing and delivery schedules
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and freight movements in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist with warehouse operations by managing freight movement, organizing shipments,



and supporting inventory control
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage during transportation and loading activities

Requirements

- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification is highly desirable
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking, cargo securement, and heavy equipment operation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, dispatchers, and clients
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
