REGULAR DUTIES
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Perform maintenance and light repairs on baggage handling systems and equipment—think of it as solving a puzzle every day!
- Hands-on Action: Carry out visual inspections, identify mechanical issues, and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist and Learn: Help out skilled tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs, gaining hands-on experience along the way.
- Problem-Solver: Reset emergency systems and troubleshoot when things go wrong—your quick thinking will keep things running smoothly.
REQUIREMENTS
- Driver’s License and Flexibility:
A car is your ticket to traveling to various sites since transit access is limited.
- Mechanical and Tech Savvy: If you’re mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic computers, you’re off to a great start!
- Ready for Security Clearance: You'll have the opportunity to apply for clearance, opening the door to even more opportunities.
- Physical Fitness: You’ll need to be able to lift 40 lbs or more when needed—getting some light exercise while you work!
- High School Graduate or Equivalent: We’re looking for someone with the basic education to support your hands-on skills.
- Flexibility in Hours: Start part-time, with the potential to move to full-time. Flexibility with shift times may be required.
