Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team on a casual, on-call basis. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing a variety of baked goods and be comfortable creating customized orders.

This position is order-based, meaning there are no guaranteed/fixed hours or wages. When we receive an order, we will contact the selected baker based on availability and the requirements of the order.

Responsibilities

- Prepare customized cakes for birthdays, celebrations, and special occasions
- Bake a variety of cakes, cupcakes, pastries, cookies, biscuits, and desserts
- Decorate cakes according to customer requirements and designs
- Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and cleanliness
- Prepare both regular and customized baking orders
- Ensure products are fresh, attractive, and consistently prepared
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices

Qualifications:
- Previous skilled baking experience preferred
- Strong skills in cake baking and decorating
- Experience with customized cakes and different decorating techniques
- Knowledge of preparing pastries, cookies, biscuits,



and other baked goods
- Creative, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders
- Valid Food Handler/Food Hygiene certification is required for the position where applicable to the food-handling duties.

Employment Details:
- Job Type: Casual / On-Call
- Hours: No fixed hours; work is offered based on customer orders
- Wages: No fixed weekly/monthly wages; compensation will be discussed based on the order/work required
- Work Availability: You will be contacted when an order is received and work will be scheduled based on your availability.
