In this role, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety practices. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, squares and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality.
- Manage inventory by ordering supplies as needed and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
- Package finished products for display or sale while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers when necessary and addressing their inquiries about baked goods.
Requirements
- Previous baking experience an asset but not required
- Safe food handling certificate
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for baking and creativity in food preparation.
