Duties

- Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, following established recipes and standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with skillful cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal.
- Support food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling baked items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace to meet food safety regulations.
- Package baked goods securely for display or customer purchase, ensuring freshness and presentation quality.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations.




- Follow all food handling and safety procedures diligently to ensure a secure environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, cake decorating, and food preparation is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Experience with kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or baked goods.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for baking, food industry trends, and creating a welcoming environment.
