Job Summary

Jalsa Events is seeking energetic, friendly, and dependable Banquet Servers for our two-day Fake Indian Wedding Experience. You will help create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests while assisting with food service, table maintenance, event setup, and cleanup.

This is a rapid-paced, family-friendly cultural celebration featuring Indian food, music, dancing, performances, and wedding traditions.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist with banquet and buffet setup before the event
- Serve food and beverages safely and efficiently
- Refill buffet items, water, drinks, plates, and cutlery as needed
- Clear used dishes and maintain clean guest tables
- Communicate with catering and event staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures




- Respond promptly and respectfully to guest requests
- Assist with event cleanup and breakdown after service
- Perform other banquet-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience is preferred
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
- Friendly, positive, and guest-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy event environment
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to carry trays and lift approximately 25 pounds
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Must be available on October 2 and/or October 3, 2026
