Job Summary

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and cash handling transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Assist with food handling duties when necessary, ensuring food safety standards are upheld at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Manage cash register operations including cashiering duties, basic math calculations for change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end




- Support the team during busy periods by serving drinks quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude

Skills

- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable, especially in bar or beverage service roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and processing transactions
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations and responsible beverage service practices
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining professionalism
