Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and productive Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and skilled in food and beverage preparation. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for customers while efficiently handling orders, payments, and food safety protocols.

Previous experience in the food industry, especially as a barista, is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, cash handling, and customer engagement in a fast-paced setting.

We prefer those who are looking for long-time employment, not just a summer job, as it takes time to train and learn the ways of how we work.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained during food preparation and serving
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, counters, and dining spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed,



including handling food items safely and efficiently
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation

Experience

- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Experience in serving, food preparation, food safety, and cashiering is beneficial
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
