Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed for customer orders
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times




- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards and protect customer health

Experience

- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly desirable; familiarity with serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Experience in food preparation or food industry roles demonstrates readiness for this position
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
