Marais is a café and loose leaf tea shop in the heart of historic downtown Chilliwack. Whether it's a latte at the café bar or a cup of something new from our tea counter, what we really do is give people a moment worth slowing down for. We're hiring a few people to help us do that well.

The role moves between the café bar and the tea counter, so no two shifts look quite the same. One hour you're making lattes, the next you're helping someone pick a tea they've never heard of.

What you'd do

- Make espresso drinks, tea lattes, crepes, and serve café items
- Help guests find teas they'll like from our loose leaf wall
- Keep the space clean and stocked through your shift
- Work across both the café and the tea counter

What we're after

- You're a natural conversationalist — good conversation is the foundation of what we do
- You're reliable in the fuller sense: engaged, intentional, and present with every guest
- You work well as part of a team,

- You can keep your head when it gets busy
- Tea or coffee experience is a bonus, but we'll train you — no background needed
- MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY TO BE CONSIDERED.

- Part-time or full-time, with flexible scheduling — weekend availability is a must
- Starts at $18.25/hr
