Title: Espresso Barista

Position Overview Cabot Cape Breton—home to Canada’s #1 and #2 golf courses—is launching a recent specialty coffee concept in Inverness, Nova Scotia. We are seeking a team of professional, driven, eager Baristas at all levels of experience to join our team and develop a valuable in-demand skill within the Hospitality industry, while supporting a fun, new offering within the community.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, americanos) to company standards
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to customers
- Create a welcoming and positive environment for guests
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment safely




- Ensure proper food safety and hygiene standards are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and seating areas
- Restock supplies such as cups, milk, syrups, and coffee beans

Requirements Of The Role You Should Be Aware Of

- Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
- As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Lifting, carrying and moving boxes, packages etc. of up to 50lbs
