Job Overview The Barrel Thief is seeking an energetic and passionate Bartender/Mixologist to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails and signature drinks, with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management promptly
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination




- Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting the overall restaurant operations during busy periods

Skills

- Minimum two years experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially as a bartender or mixologist
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and authentically
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in quick-paced settings
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for serving alcohol responsibly and ensuring guest safety
