Role Description The Behavioral Therapist is a full-time hybrid role based in Shelburne, ON, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting behavioral assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions rooted in behavior analysis. The therapist will provide direct support to children and families, collect and analyze behavioral data, and adjust strategies based on progress and goals.

This role also involves collaborating with other clinicians, participating in care planning, documenting sessions in a timely and accurate manner,



and communicating regularly with caregivers and school or community partners as needed. The therapist will contribute to a positive, inclusive environment and uphold qualified and ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis skills, including assessment, treatment planning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Psychology and related behavioral sciences to inform clinical judgment and intervention design.
- Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners in a respectful, inclusive manner.
- Candidates should possess experience Working With Children, particularly in therapeutic, educational, or developmental settings.
- Relevant certification or coursework in ABA (e.g., BCaBA, RBT, or equivalent training) is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to maintain clear documentation, manage time effectively, and work both independently and within a team-based environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region for in-person and at-home sessions, and comfort using virtual platforms for remote services.
