The Role We are seeking a charismatic and motivated Retail Sales Specialist to be the face of our brand. In this role, you won't just ring up purchases; you will guide customers through our extensive inventory, offer recommendations, and share the stories behind the bottles. Whether you are an industry veteran or eager to launch your career in wine and spirits, you must be excited to learn and showcase our world-class selection.
Schedule
- This position requires working weekends every week. Actual shifts may vary week to week.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide expert (or enthusiastic) recommendations to help them find exactly what they need.
- Product Advocacy: Actively showcase new arrivals and hidden gems, helping customers navigate the best selection in Canada.
It is OK to not know everything about the products, we provide the resources to navigate your success.
- Store Standards: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor. This includes restocking shelves, building displays, and ensuring pricing is accurate.
Requirements
- Professional Presentation: A neat, tidy, and professional appearance is required at all times as you are the face of our premium brand.
- Industry Passion: Existing knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is a huge asset (WSET/Cicerone), but a genuine eagerness to learn and develop in the industry is just as key.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long shifts and frequently lift up to 40 lbs (cases of wine/spirits).
- Attributes: Keen attention to detail, a team-first attitude, and a willingness to go above and beyond to make a sale or help a colleague.
