Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Level 2 Daycare Educator to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners in both English and French to foster strong relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities using computer-based systems.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and positive behavior management at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Lead classroom routines such as circle time, meal times, nap schedules, and transitions with professionalism and organizational skill.

Qualification





- Fluency in both English and French is essential for effective communication within the team and with families.
- Demonstrated experience working with children in early childhood education or childcare settings.
- Knowledge of child development principles, including special education needs and inclusive practices.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with leadership qualities to guide young learners confidently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and parent interactions.
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and reporting purposes.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a nurturing setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating time management and leadership capabilities.
- Minimum 1 year experience and level 2 certification
- Strong knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing and early learning best practices
- A good knowledge of childcare subsidies and grants
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search , First Aid Certification, food safety certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
