Blossom Coordinator
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Blossom Coordinator will assist in the program and develop a person- centered approach to activities for residents with early dementia, identifying the needs of each resident and provide an environment where residents are free to be themselves. This model values the emotional intelligence of each participant and have core beliefs that everyone living with dementia has a unique story which has meaning and matters and where each journey will be individual.
Qualifications:
- Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
- Must have completed a course in dementia with two years’ experience in geriatric activation/recreation. Personal Support Worker qualifications an asset
- Ability to multi- task
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Adaptable schedule; ability to workdays and/or weekends as required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and French
- Knowledge of community resources and program development
- Tech savvy is an asset
- Knowledge of program development is an asset.
- Received at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine.

Pay: $16.00-$19.38 per hour
