Bookkeeping/Administrative Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is mathematically inclined and has strong attention to detail. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality, and has a desire to grow in a dynamic, entrepreneurial Canadian company.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily bookkeeping activities, including data entry, document organization, and maintenance of accounting records and financial reports.
- Support purchase order processing and maintain supporting documentation.
- Support the management of internal expenses for approval and compliance.
- Support Accounts Payable by reviewing expenses, processing vendor invoices and credit card receipts, managing the PO list, matching receipts, and obtaining required invoice approvals.
- Support Accounts Receivable by ensuring timely invoice delivery, preparing paid invoice receipts, tracking payments,
and assisting with collections and small claims administration for delinquent clients, including payment plan tracking, preparation, and related communications.
- Maintain and update Referral Partner master documentation and support the preparation/distribution of Referral Partner payments.
- Assist with the creation of accounting data to support bookkeeping/accounting processing.
- Provide general administrative support to assist with overall office operations and other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
- Experience maintaining and preparing accurate financial records and reports.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent bookkeeping skills, including payroll, documentation, and using complex spreadsheets to track data and create reports.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software such as Word, Excel, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and CRM platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous process improvement
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling company financial information.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Earning Potential: $55,000 – $65,000
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Work location: In person BCG Office (920 The East Mall, Etobicoke)
