HIGH KEY BREWING

Saskatoon

High Key Brewing Co. is looking for a confident, organized Brewery Taproom Supervisor to help lead our taproom team and coordinate day-to-day hospitality operations.

This is a hands-on position. You'll work on the floor alongside the team while taking the lead on the shift, keeping an eye on service, staffing, labour and overall operations.

Some nights are busy. Some are quiet. We're looking for someone who knows how to manage both: jumping in when needed, making smart staffing decisions when things slow down, and making sure the team stays productive.

What You'll Do

- Lead taproom shifts while actively serving and working the floor
- Support and direct FOH staff throughout the shift
- Monitor sales and labour and adjust staffing as needed
- Work alongside Kitchen Supervisors to coordinate staffing, service and overall shift operations
- Help maintain consistent service, food quality, cleanliness and closing standards
- Coach staff, give direction and have the occasional difficult conversation when needed
- Handle guest concerns and make decisions when ownership isn't on the floor
- Prepare FOH schedules and help plan staffing around reservations and events
- Keep an eye on waste and opportunities to improve efficiency

Private Events We host everything from business lunches and birthdays to weddings and Christmas parties.

Once an event is confirmed, you'll take the lead on coordinating the details, including:

- Guest counts, timelines and event details
- Food selections and dietary requirements with the kitchen
- Staffing and room setup
- Communicating the event plan to FOH and kitchen teams
- Coordinating setup and execution on the day of the event

Who We're Looking For

- Previous restaurant, bar, brewery or hospitality experience
- Supervisory, shift-lead or management experience
- Confident making decisions and giving direction
- Comfortable having difficult conversations when necessary
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Understands the importance of labour, waste and operating costs
- Friendly, dependable and guest-focused
- Available evenings and weekends

Craft beer knowledge is an asset, but not required. We can teach you the beer. This is not a desk-heavy management position. The majority of your hours will be spent actively working on the floor, with a smaller amount of time allocated to scheduling, events and other administrative responsibilities.

Hours: Approximately 25–35 hours/week, depending on taproom volume and events

Compensation: $20–$24/hour + tips, based on experience

If you're the kind of person who can pour a pint, keep a team organized and look around a room and figure out what needs to happen next, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Benefits

- Dental care
- Discounted or free food
- Extended health care
- In office parking
- Store discount
- Vision care

Application question(s):
- How many years of restaurant, bar, brewery or hospitality experience do you have?
- Do you have previous experience as a supervisor, shift lead or manager in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment?
- This position requires regular evening and weekend availability and hours may vary based on taproom volume and private events. Are you comfortable with this type of schedule?
