As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their cannabis needs. You will be responsible for educating customers about various products, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs.
- Educate customers about the effects, benefits, and proper usage of different strains and products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Maintain product displays, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized.
- Perform inventory management tasks, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Utilize computer systems for sales transactions, inventory tracking, and customer management.
- Engage in heavy lifting when necessary to restock shelves or manage inventory.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Basic math skills for accurate calculations during sales processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely as required by the role.
- A passion for cannabis culture and a desire to educate others about its benefits.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
