We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time & Full Time Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in the food industry and ability to manage time effectively will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea and fruit drink beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Micros POS system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with drink preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Skills
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong ability to multi-task and maintain positive attitude.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Experience in food handling and knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage but not mandatory.
