Signarama Quinte is growing, and we're looking for our next team member to join one of Eastern Ontario's leading sign companies.
You do NOT need sign industry experience.
If you've worked in entry-level construction, carpentry, roofing, fencing, electrical, landscaping, or another hands-on trade and you're willing to learn, we want to hear from you.
We're more interested in finding the right person with a great attitude than someone who already knows everything about signs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing all types of commercial signs
- Operating bucket trucks (training provided)
- Measuring accurately and recording site information
- Using power tools and hand tools safely
- Installing vinyl graphics and signage
- Working both independently and as part of a team
- Providing professional customer service on-site
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable working at heights
- Able to safely use common hand and power tools
- Can accurately measure and record information
- Able to use a level and follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Valid G driver's licence (DZ licence is an asset but not required)
Experience That Helps (But Isn't Required)
- Carpentry
- Construction
- Roofing
- Electrical
- General labour
- Millwright or mechanical experience
- Equipment operation
- Any installation-related trade
We Will Train the Right Person We are willing to invest in the right candidate and will provide the necessary training and certifications, including:
- Working at Heights
- Elevated Work Platform (MEWP/Aerial Lift) Training
- Bucket truck operation
- Sign installation techniques
- Company safety procedures
On-Site Skills Assessment Rather than judging applicants by what's written on a résumé, shortlisted candidates will complete a simple on-site skills assessment. This gives everyone a fair opportunity to demonstrate practical abilities, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
