SESH by Sessions Cannabis is seeking passionate individuals with cannabis knowledge for the role of Budtender. As a brand ambassador, you’ll provide excellent customer service, educate customers about cannabis products, and contribute to a positive community environment.
This is a current, active vacancy.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly, welcoming manner throughout the day.
- Confidently represent the SESH by Sessions Cannabis brand and values.
- Educate customers on cannabis products and safe consumption.
- Facilitate cannabis sales by discussing products and accessories with customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
- Use a cannabis-compliant POS system and cash register efficiently.
- Organize, receive, and categorize cannabis products and accessories.
- Maintain daily cleanliness of the store.
- Check IDs for customers appearing 30 years old or younger.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to provincial and federal cannabis regulations.
- Participate in company and LP training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of retail experience preferred.
- Valid CannSell certification.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Availability for shifts between 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
- Basic math skills and cashier proficiency.
- Cannabis knowledge and community connection are assets.
- Must be 19+.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, and lifting boxes.
- Perform tasks related to stocking and store maintenance.
