- Start Date: As soon as possible Safely transport students to and from school on all student attendance days
- Regular cleaning of the bus
- Adherence to safe bus driving procedures
- Compliance with all personal protective equipment procedures




- Regularly communicating with school Administration and Transportation Department personnel regarding student conduct
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections as required by The Traffic Safety Act
- Ensuring bus maintenance standards are being maintained and mechanical deficiencies are reported to the bus garage in a timely manner
- Providing casual employees with an orientation to your bus, bus route and rules specific to your route
- Minimum Class 5 license with School Bus "S" Endorsement
- Previous experience working with children
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to deal with a broad range of students, staff and members of the general public
- Basic computer skills
- Defined Benefit Pension Plan 15,509.23 to $16,883.42 per hour base wage + $0.2770 per KM (over 80 km driven) and bus expense allowances.
