About the Role

This is a top-of-funnel role where you will own pipeline generation: researching and prioritizing target accounts, opening doors, qualifying opportunities, and handing them off to our senior sales team to close. You will not carry a closing quota, but you will be in the room as deals progress, and this role may be the launchpad to an Account Manager as the team scales.

Our sales cycle runs 6–12 months or more. Success at Cinareo is based on a disciplined, account-based outbound process: building relationships with multiple stakeholders inside target accounts and staying valuably present for months. This role requires someone to be methodical, curious, and patient, not just energetic.

What you’ll do

- Build and maintain target account lists within our ICP verticals (BFSI, healthcare, BPO, telecom), prioritizing contact centers where capacity planning is still done in spreadsheets.
- In conjunction with our Marketing team, run multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) into named accounts, multi-threading across WFM directors, VPs of CX/Operations, and finance stakeholders.
- Work closely and collaborate with Account Managers to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
- Design and execute multi-month nurture cadences that keep Cinareo present in an account throughout a long evaluation window, sharing relevant insights, not just checking in.
- Qualify opportunities against our ICP and hand off sales-accepted opportunities to the senior sales team, staying involved through early-stage discovery.
- Work industry events, webinars, and partner channels as pipeline sources, with rigorous follow-up.
- Qualify and convert inbound and marketing-sourced leads as they grow.
- Keep HubSpot immaculate with every contact, touchpoint,

and account logged and tracked.
- Report on leading-indicator metrics (below) weekly, and feed market and persona insights back to product and marketing.

How success is measured Because our sales cycle can be 6–12 months or more, we measure this role on leading indicators of pipeline, not closed revenue:

- Qualified meetings booked and held with ICP personas
- Sales-accepted opportunities created
- Pipeline dollars generated
- Account penetration: number of engaged stakeholders per target account

Variable compensation is tied to these pipeline-creation milestones, with an additional kicker on closed-won deals you sourced, so you benefit when your work converts.

What we’re looking for

- 1–3+ years in B2B SaaS sales development or similar outbound role, ideally with deal cycles of 6+ months.
- Experience selling into operations or finance buyers at mid-market or enterprise organizations.
- Demonstrated success with account-based, multi-touch outbound; you can show us a cadence you built and what it produced.
- Hands-on fluency with a modern sales stack: HubSpot (or similar CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless or ZoomInfo GTM intelligence platforms, and outbound sequencing tools.
- A consultative, insight-led communication style, written and verbal, with the patience and discipline that long cycles demand.
- Track record of hitting pipelines or meeting targets consistently.

Nice to have (we’ll train the right person):

- Knowledge of the contact center, WFM, or CCaaS ecosystem (e.g. NICE, Verint, Calabrio, Genesys).

- Experience at an early-stage startup, where you helped define the sales playbook
- A bachelor’s degree (but relevant experience matters more to us than credentials).

Compensation and perks Base pay for this role ranges from $55,000-$60,000 CAD, based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, plus variable compensation tied to the pipeline metrics outlined above, with an additional closed-won kicker. This role is remote within Canada, with occasional travel for industry events and team gatherings.

Why join us

You are joining the ground floor of a category we are defining. As the team scales, the natural path from this seat is to Account Manager and eventually to Account Executive. And because you will sit close to deals through their full 6–12 month arc, you will learn enterprise selling faster here than at a company where BDRs never see past the handoff.
