About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Process Re-Engineering Consultant to lead a 9-month transformation engagement focused on improving end-to-end operational processes across Treasury Operations. This role requires robust consulting capabilities, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior business leaders and IT partners.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, enhanced controls, and technology-enabled improvements within Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

Process Review & Analysis

- Lead detailed process deep dives with cross-functional teams to assess current-state workflows, risks, and control points.
- Document findings, gaps, and action items in a clear, structured, and practical manner.

Action Planning & Execution Support
- Partner with business and IT teams to define execution plans for identified improvements.
- Support prioritization, effort estimation, and milestone planning.
- Drive follow-ups to ensure momentum and timely delivery of outcomes.

Process Tracking & Governance
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive process-improvement tracker covering action items, owners, timelines, dependencies, risks, and progress.
- Monitor execution, proactively identify delays or blockers, and escalate issues to leadership when required.
- Maintain transparent documentation to support audit, compliance, and leadership reporting.

Measurement of Benefits
- Define benefit measurement criteria aligned with business objectives (e.g., efficiency gains, risk reduction, throughput improvements).
- Track, quantify, and report realized benefits throughout the engagement.




- Present insights, progress, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate effective communication between business teams, Finance/Treasury leadership, and IT partners.
- Provide advisory support, best-practice guidance, and thought leadership on process-improvement strategies.
- Ensure alignment across teams and navigate competing priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

- 5–10 years of experience in Finance or Treasury Operations, process optimization, operational excellence, or management consulting.
- Strong background in process re-engineering, business transformation, or consulting engagements.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional process reviews and delivering structured, actionable recommendations.
- Solid understanding of operational processes within Finance and/or Treasury (payments processing strongly preferred).
- Strong project planning, task management, and organizational skills.
- Technically proficient; comfortable discussing systems, data flows, automation opportunities, and IT architecture.
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with process-mapping and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Exposure to ERP systems and Treasury platforms.




- Experience with system implementations, workflow automation, or large transformation programs.
- Strong technical exposure, including Power BI, SQL, and data analysis tools.
- Treasury operations experience, particularly payments processing.
- Accounting exposure is considered an asset.

Education & Certifications (Nice to Have)
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field).
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, CPA / Accounting designation, or related credentials are an asset.

The expected base salary range for this position is $55 – $63 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements. Benefit eligibility and offerings vary based on role, employment status, and work location.
