We provide comprehensive operational, engineering, and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, sales and marketing activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We are looking for a Business Reporting and Analytics Specialist to join our ranks in the Information Technology team. MHIRJ is looking for a full-time Business Reporting and Analytics Specialist , an intelligent, curious person passionate about the challenges of solving problems of various natures and complexities to improve people's lives.
You will collaborate with a dynamic, tight-knit, and pleasant agile team. The role of Business Reporting and Analytics Specialist plays a vital role in harmonizing reporting across different company functions, establishing organizational‑level reporting standards, and transforming complex data into strategic insights for leadership. The incumbent will help evolve the organization beyond lagging indicators toward predictive and advanced leading indicators aligned with key business objectives.
This highly visible position involves direct interaction with senior management, IT teams, and data platform teams. If you are passionate about transforming data into concrete value and evolving reporting from simple dashboards to a true strategic guidance tool, we would like to meet you. Unlike traditional BI developer roles focused primarily on project delivery, the Business Reporting and Analytics Specialist position combines a strategic dimension and hands‑on report development with ongoing operational responsibility.
Your contribution as a Business Reporting and Analytics Specialist: Corporate Reporting Strategy and Execution: Execute and evolve the corporate reporting strategy using Databricks as the data foundation and Power BI as the primary visualization platform. Design and deliver standardized, reusable reporting assets to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability of reports across MHIRJ. Collaborate closely with IT teams and data platform teams to ensure alignment between ingestion, modeling, and reporting layers.
Partnership with Leaders and Business Units: Work directly with business leaders and corporate functions to understand strategic objectives and translate them into clear, decision‑ready dashboards and reports. Develop executive‑level reports highlighting trends, risks, opportunities,
and leading indicators rather than being limited to a historical view, while strengthening operational reporting to support daily activities and increase business value. Act as a trusted advisor by helping leaders interpret information and understand its impact on company results.
Define and enforce enterprise‑wide reporting standards (metric definitions, visualization best practices, refresh frequency, and performance expectations). Promote a single source of truth through clear KPI definitions and governed data sets. Foster data literacy by guiding stakeholders on the proper interpretation and use of reports.
Continuously evolve metrics so they remain aligned with constantly changing business priorities.
Continuous Improvement: Gather stakeholder feedback to improve the usability, performance, and relevance of reports. Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or retire low‑value reports. Contribute to the evolution of MHIRJ's analytics and data maturity roadmap. Design and develop corporate reports and datasets, then ensure complete lifecycle management including planning, refreshing, validation, and dissemination.
Provide
Level 2 and Level 3 (L2/L3) support for reporting incidents, including resolving data, performance, and access issues. Maintain reporting assets through rigorous version control, comprehensive documentation, and a controlled deployment process. Over 7 years of experience in roles related to corporate reporting, business intelligence (BI), or analytics. Solid hands‑on expertise with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and dashboard design).
Experience working with modern data platforms, ideally Databricks . Strong business acumen demonstrated by the ability to translate reporting requirements into relevant metrics generating clear, actionable insights for decision‑making.
