Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated online Business Tutor (Teachables: Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Finance) to inspire and support students in mastering key business concepts and skills at the secondary and post-secondary level. As a Business Tutor, you will provide personalized guidance, foster a positive learning environment, and help students build confidence in their academic journey. Duties

- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions focused on business topics such as management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship
- Assess students’ understanding and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Provide clear explanations of complex concepts using real-world examples to enhance comprehension
- Support students in developing effective study strategies and problem-solving skills
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement
- Foster a motivating and encouraging environment that promotes active participation and confidence
- Collaborate with students to set achievable goals and develop personalized learning plans

Experience & Requiremenrs





- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably within a classroom or one-on-one setting
- Knowledge of standard Ontario Curriculum for courses in Accounting, Economics, and Data Management
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, statistics, or finance
- Access to high speed internet, and a writing tablet, iPad with Apple Pencil, and/or touch screen laptop with stylus. Preference will be given to those who already possess the required technology, but the option to provide one at company's cost is also available.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
- Experience working with children or young learners is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and needs
